Jiaozuo City, China, September 29, 2017: We would like to inform our customers that, due to an emergency notice issued by Jiaozuo City Environmental Protection Office, we are currently experiencing an enforced capacity restriction at our Jiaozuo sulfate-process titanium dioxide manufacturing plant. The Jiaozuo chloride-process plant is unaffected.
This temporary restriction commenced September 19, 2017 and will remain in place until October 31, 2017. The restriction consists of a reduction in output of 30%.
The company has achieved this targeted reduction in output and is taking the opportunity to bring forward routine maintenance, thereby limiting the overall disruption to annualized capacity.
This emergency notice has been implemented throughout Jiaozuo City and is not targeted specifically at Lomon Billions. It is part of a broader program to reduce pollution in China.
Lomon Billions is committed to assisting the local and central government’s efforts to reduce pollution. The Jiaozuo manufacturing facility remains fully compliant with all environmental regulations and the company continues to make additional, significant investment in environmental protection measures.
